Kurtis can shoot through steel!!

Kurtis went shooting on Saturday! When he came home he was so excited to show me that his "armor piercing ammo" had shot through a 1/2 inch piece of steel. So he asked me to take a few pictures for his brother Bryce, who is on a mission.

Experiance

So I went out to the garden today and found my very first tomato of the season. There are a ton on the vine but this little guy was the only one that was red! I was very excited and picked it despite the small size.
Well not long after my exciting "pick" our kind neighbors stopped by, they have a very large garden. They noticed that all of our tomatoes were still green and so they brought us over a few from their garden. LOOK AT THE COMPARISON. No words are needed.
So I have never had a garden but after watching the neighbors I have learned a lot. I think next year our garden will be better than ever.

BYU BABY!!!

We are starting early with the BYU spirit! How cute is this BYU bear? I am sure he will be a favorite of Derek. And the BYU shirt is super cute!! Don't worry mom Derek will still wear OU shirts too!

The Garden

Our first zucchini! I made zucchini bread with it! And it was delicious.
So most of the corn blew over during a storm but some of it is still standing. But the corn that is leaning over is still producing kind of crazy.
Our tomatoes! I am excited for when they get ripe!!
Our squash plants are huge, but this is the first garden I have every had so maybe they are just normal.
Kurtis loves spaghetti squash and so he planted like 6 bushes of it. Now we have enough to feed the entire neighborhood.

Baby Shower!

The baby shower was so much fun! Elise is a wonderful friend to host the party. The food was wonderful and the game was played was hilarious. I was wonderful to see all of my friends that I have neglected since getting pregnant!
